Hello! If you’re reading this (and if you are, it’s most likely because you subscribed to Metrocop a long time ago), this may come as a huge surprise. You probably didn’t expect anything else to come out of this dead site.
Well, much like in the ending of Half-Life: Alyx (spoilers!) or even the Half-Life series itself, sometimes all you need is a nudge and formerly dead things are brought back to life.
In this case, it was a considerably large nudge, but I have good news: Metrocop is coming back!
For the past three(!) years, I have been hard at work on a completely new version of the website, rebuilt from scratch. Don’t worry, the comics archive is being brought over too (with new content to be added soon after), plus a plethora of new content, including new articles on Half-Life topics every week. Just in time for Metrocop’s tenth anniversary, no less!
Don’t worry, though; the old site will still be available—permanently—on the domain metrocop.wordpress.com. I’m nothing if not a conservationist.
I don’t want to officially announce any ETA for the new site just yet, but let’s just say you should probably pay attention to the metrocop.net domain this weekend, wink wink.
In the meantime, I suggest you join our Discord server to stay up to date on the latest developments for the brand new Metrocop. If you have Twitter, you can also follow me there for updates.
